Neev by Neha – Los Gatos’ Newest Contemporary Indian Art Gallery Founder Neha Singhal hopes to build connections between emerging artists and established talent from India Over 150 people gathered at the Los Altos Golf & Country Club to celebrate the launch of Neev by Neha , a contemporary Indian art gallery situated in the heart of Los Gatos. A brainchild of founder Neha Singhal, the gallery will be curating and promoting Indian artists’ work. In keeping with this mission, the launch event featured work by over 25 Indian artists. Among them were established names like Ramesh Gorjala, recipient of the Mahatma Gandhi Birth Centenary Memorial Award; Sangeeta Abhay, whose work has featured at the 2019 Florence Biennale; and Vidhyasagar Upadhyay, whose work is showcased in Delhi’s National Gallery of Modern Art. As for emerging talent, Gourishankar Soni’s 3D acrylic on canvas paintings explored philosophical themes like the synergy between beings and the forces around them. The gallery aims to put up more thoughtfully curated exhibitions like this in the future.
